Christopher’s career in education has spanned over fifteen years to date; after completing a degree in Geography at Exeter University and his PGCE at Oxford University, he has served in a variety of leadership and specialist teaching roles. His professional journey has been driven by a passion for “Learning Outside the Classroom” and holistic student development; he believes strongly that education should extend beyond the traditional curriculum to build resilience and lifelong learning.

An advocate for technological integration and student wellbeing, Christopher is a Mental Health First Aider and holds both NPQML and NPQSL qualifications. His expertise ranges from the delivery of A Level Economics, Politics, Philosophy and even survival skills to the innovative use of GIS and AI technologies in the classroom. Throughout his career, Christopher has been deeply committed to mentoring, supporting the growth of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) candidates, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and established colleagues across a range of subjects and schools. Having led both departmental academic success as a Head of Geography as well as personal development initiatives through the Duke of Edinburgh Award and his role as a Sub-Lieutenant in the Combined Cadet Force Royal Navy Section, he remains dedicated to fostering an environment of lifelong learning and professional excellence.
