Aletheia Academies Trust are a proud partner chosen to deliver the DfE Teaching Internship Programme with our family of local schools across Kent and Medway.

This is a 3‑week school‑based teaching internship programme that immerses you in real classroom practice. You’ll work with experienced mentors to observe lessons, co‑teach, lead learning segments, and participate in subject‑specific workshops.

Key features

Supported experience:

  • Observe lessons and professional routines

  • Co-teach and lead learning segments

Professional development:

  • Training in lesson planning, pedagogy, and classroom management

  • Reflective sessions to develop teaching skills

  • Exposure to different subjects and educational settings

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate students in 2nd, 3rd, or final year

  • Master’s students with interest in teaching

  • Subjects include: Chemistry, Computing, Design & Technology, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Physics
